With this week's Thursday Night game behind us, and the only fantasy usefulness coming from the San Francisco 49ers side, here are this week's positional rankings. There are a couple of QB changes, injury situations to watch, and intangibles that will factor greatly into this week's action. As always, if there is a Sit/Start Question, start the higher ranked player.

Alfred Morris climbs ahead of Forte and AP this week because this is the first week this season where he should see a substantial workload. The Raiders are dealing with QB uncertainty as Terrelle Pryor may not be able to go. I like Morris to finally have the big game that has eluded him thus far in 2013.
Chris Johnson cracks the Top 10 because I think this is the week where he finally breaks the plane for his first TD of the season. Johnson has had great success against the Jets in his career, and I look for him to have a very busy day.
Ray Rice returns from injury this week and he is at 17 because I think he'll be dealing with a legit time share with Bernard Pierce. Buffalo is not a strong run defense so I think there will be enough work to go around, but Rice is probably not going to have a monster day.
I'm betting on Jason Snelling having another big day. 60-80 yards and a TD are likely.

13) Antonio Brown, Pittsburgh
14) Larry Fitzgerald, Arizona
15) Reggie Wayne, Indianapolis
16) Vincent Jackson, Tampa Bay
17) Andre Johnson, Houston
18) Stevie Johnson, Buffalo
19) Cecil Shorts, Jacksonville
20) Josh Gordon, Cleveland
21) Mike Wallace, Miami
22) Julian Edelman, New England
23) Roddy White, Atlanta
24) Eric Decker, Denver
25) Eddie Royal, San Diego
26) Dwayne Bowe, Kansas City

48) Rod Streater, Oakland
49) Vincent Brown, San Diego
50) Mohamed Sanu, Cincinnati
Calvin Johnson has struggled over the past two seasons in matchups with the Chicago Bears, and Jay Cutler has absolutely torched Detroit, leading to Brandon Marshall's placement at #2. I expect WR2 numbers out of Calvin, but you're not sitting him.
Antonio Brown's ranking of 13 may be reactionary to last week's monster performance, but a matchup with Minnesota's less than talented secondary leads me to believe another big day is in store. Same goes for Emmanuel Sanders and his Top 30 spot.
I'm high on Ryan Broyles this weekend, as he has been a play maker every time he's been on the field. His spot as the Detroit slot WR is fully entrenched and as long as he stays healthy, I like Top 40 productions out of him.
Donnie Avery's role in the Kansas City offense isn't some fluke. He has big time speed and with Alex Smith failing to throw the ball more than 15 yards at a time, look for Avery to be a weekly boom or bust WR3.
QB
1) Peyton Manning, Denver
2) Drew Brees, New Orleans
3) Tom Brady, New England**
4) Matt Ryan, Atlanta
5) Michael Vick, Philadelphia
6) Andrew Luck, Indianapolis
7) Tony Romo, Dallas
8) Robert Griffin III, Washington
9) Jay Cutler, Chicago
10) Joe Flacco, Baltimore
11) Andy Dalton, Cincinnati
12) Russell Wilson, Seattle
13) Eli Manning, NY Giants
14) Matthew Stafford, Detroit
15) Ben Roethlisberger, Pittsburgh
16) Ryan Tannehill, Miami
17) Matt Schaub, Houston
18) Philip Rivers, San Diego
19) Alex Smith, Kansas City
20) Brian Hoyer, Cleveland
21) Carson Palmer, Arizona
22) EJ Manuel, Buffalo
23) Geno Smith, NY Jets
24) Jake Locker, Tennessee
25) Terrelle Pryor/Matt Flynn, Oakland
**With Saturday's news of Gronk and Amendola out for New England, bump Tom Brady down to #10 and everyone up one spot.
Russell Wilson will eventually climb higher in my rankings, but his matchup this week on the road against Houston is lousy. Top 12 numbers are likely, but I'm not looking for anything like last week's 4 TD performance.
I'm starting to believe in Ryan Tannehill. His matchup appears friendly enough vs. New Orleans, and if you're down Aaron Rodgers or Cam Newton this week, Tannehill was a likely candidate to be on waivers. Plug him in.
What can I say about Brian Hoyer? He surprised me last week with his 300+ yard, 3 TD performance, and with no visible running game in sight, Hoyer should continue to pile on garbage type statistics.
No matter who Oakland runs out there Sunday, they are facing the worst defense in football at home. Numbers are bound to accumulate.
